Quick Preview - Error 403 nginx

Hi!

Plesk 12.5 Pro Edition linux updated from 11.5, the quick preview dont work.
First, show message to enable nginx. Nginx is ok and enable, quick preview active first option (default).
When click in Preview website:

403 Forbidden
nginx

Any idea for fix the problem?

502 Bad Gateway everyday

Two days ago I configured a new server under Debian 8.2 with Plesk 12.5.30 #18.

Then I migrated from another plesk a single domain and all worked fine, the domain worked perfectly.

Next day when I tried to access to this domain I saw the error "502 Bad Gateway"

So I followed this KA article http://kb.odin.com/en/123735 and website worked again.

Next day same problem... When the logs ends to rotate the website shows "502 Bad Gateway"

Any ideas to fix this everyday problem?...

upgrade Plesk 12.0.18 to Plesk 12.5.30 fails SQL query

I am trying to update my Plesk installation to the latest version, but it is tripping up on the PREP actions before actually proceeding to update. Here is the error that is repeated a few times:

ERROR while trying to execute SQL query, the query was: ALTER TABLE `avstatistics` ADD KEY `date_type` (type,`date`)

I might add that my MySQL is also updated to the latest version 5.7. Perhaps there was some incompatible change between MySQL 5.6 and MySQL 5.7?

Compiling Extensions for php5.6

Hi,

I updatet my plesk today from 10.3 to 12.0... so I am "kind of new" to the new features.
It's a pleasure, to be able to use php 5.3 and 5.6 both.
But I ran into troubles when building modules. 5.3 is "standard" for plesk, right? And if I want to work with 5.6, I only have those little installation in /opt/plesk/php/5.6 ?
Thats not much :( I had to install for example phpdevel using yum (I am working on CentOS 6.2).
After compiling with phpize & co, I get the warning that my module-APi...

Can't connect to backend: No such file or directory

Greetings all,

since yesterday my plesk wont work right anymore. I got one E-Mail where it says plesk update gone wrong. (But when i click on the link inside the mail, it cant find the file).

So i go inside Plesk and click on update -> Can't connect to backend: No such file or directory.

What can i do now to fix Plesk?

I've build my own DDNS-Service and after upgrading Plesk from version 11.5.30 to 12.0.18, Plesk says after DNS changes:

Problem download backup after update

Hi.

I have problems with download backup for plesk panel after last update. The file move correctment to tmp directory but not download. The message error is:

WordPress Security Check breaks Wordpress

I have experienced this with Plesk 12.0 and now also with 12.5, so I thought maybe I should report this.
When I use the Security Check tool for Wordpress and I put the checkbox on "Security keys" and click on "Secure", it displays an error message. Then, the website does not work anymore, because wp-config.php is completeley blank, 0 bytes in size! So I need to restore that file from backup. Very annoying.
This affects basically all Wordpress installations on the machine, no matter which one...

I have several problem on some server, with 502 error nginx when apache fail. I review logs and the

Error setting ipv6 on Plesk

Background: Server with 4 domains. Centos 6.7
Plesk was upgraded some days ago to 12.5.30_build1205150826.19. No problem these days.

Just added new domain, during setup no ipv6 was added as was no planned initially. Everything ok, new web y Wordpress, old web in html copied to archive directory and phopbb forum running also ok.

Emails from Plesk came rejected from Gmail (the destination mail account for new customer) for a problem with ipv6 so decided to add an ipv6 to this...

I am very new to this sort of thing. I signed up for a VPS on 1and1 I have installed Centos6 with Plesk 12.0.18 I think I have everything turned on properly and have set up a new client,myself, on a domain and have been trying to install Wordpress 4.3 from the application window. But I get this error:
ERROR: Call to undefined method PHosting_Apache::getPHPCliPath() (Adapter.php:134)

and when I have tried other apps as well. It creates an empty Database File but nothing else?

Hello i just installed
ISO version of Plesk12.5 Centos 7 installer

while installing it on 310 GB drive
i selected to auto partition the drive.

then i did migration from centos 6.7 plesk 11.5
now after checking the allocation of partitions I am concern. (see attached pic)

as far as the partitioning goes all SITES are stored in /VAR partition/directory which seem to be in "root" according to the picture.

Why the spacing got badly allocated by the ISO installer?

Shared Hosting Sites Crawling Each Other

Hi,

This is a bit odd and a bit convoluted. My hosting company says no worries but I should check the blogs. So here I am.

It seems my websites are somehow crawling each other and they shouldn't be.
I have a shared hosting server using PLESK running with Apache.
90% of my sites are using Wordpress.
All Wordpress sites have the Wordfence Premium Plugin.
Wordfence shows that my sites are being crawled every 15 minutes by my hosting server. No traffic should come from my server.

Disk utilization increased after upgrade from 12.0

On two Debian GNU/Linux 7.9 (wheezy) servers, the disk utilization increased after upgrade from 12.0 to 12.5. I can't understand what is causing it. Main suspect is mysql but by searching with iostat, iotop, atop I could not identify something different.

I am quite sure that the plesk upgrade caused it because the two identical servers were upgraded at very different dates: First server was upgraded on 9th November, and second server was upgraded on 30th December. You can see the difference...

Fail2Ban issues

Hi guys,

We're having several issues with Fail2ban in Plesk. When adding an ip address to "Add A trusted ip address", the system hangs for more than a minute until it saves the new trusted ip address. At times it does not work and fail2ban gives an error which gives an option to restart the fail2ban server.

Please advise what would be needed from my end and what exact logs should I provide. Thanks guys
