Patching Plesk 12.5 for weak DH

This script does not work anymore for Plesk 12.5:

Is there a new version available?

I'm a bit disappointed though that Plesk 12.5 didn't come standard with SSLv2 and SSLv3 disabled and the stronger DH key as suggested in the LOGJAM prevention sites.

Hi All

I have several problem on some server, with 502 error nginx when apache fail. I review logs and the

AH00098: pid file /run/httpd/httpd.pid overwritten -- Unclean shutdown of previous Apache run

error appear a lot of time, also other error :

Plesk API | Backup Error: Broken referencial integrity Mail id

Hey to all,

since some days one Plesk 12.5.10 Server on Debian show the following error on nightly scheduled Backup.

Code:
Warning: domain "<domain>"
Broken referencial integrity: Mail id 2060 is not found in mail
- If i grep the whole PSA Databse, im not able find any ID with 2060
- Plesk reapir Command doesnt help

have you any idea what i can check to resolv this issue?

PleskFataException… unable to connect to database

Hello *,

we are using a V-Server (Ubuntu Linux) with Plesk 12.x and MySQL database.

After a DB access incident we changed the DB admin password… since this moment Plesk isn't working, it shows the message:

ERROR: PleskFatalException: Unable to connect to database: saved admin password is incorrect. (auth.php:149).

With cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow we got the old password back, stopped the DB, restarted MySQL in safe mode with mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables & …. but we...

Can't Start Reverse Proxy Server (nginx) - All websites down

Hi,

We're having a problem on one of our servers resulting in all websites down. Nginx won;t start and we get the following error:

Not starting nginx as it is disabled in config

The following article relates to this on Plesk troubleshooting, but none of the solutions are helping to resolve this.

plesk broke during upgrade and now apache overwrote httpd.conf

Last night my friend was trying to help me resolve that issue, but we ended up creating an even bigger problem. He was not previously familiar with Plesk or very experienced with Apache, but knows the command line a lot better than I do.

Long story short:

back in September
- tried to update Plesk 10 to Plesk 12 and it half-completed
- when I go to myipaddress:8443 it won't load the...

plesk broke during upgrade and now apache overwrote httpd.conf

Disk utilization increased after upgrade from 12.0

On two Debian GNU/Linux 7.9 (wheezy) servers, the disk utilization increased after upgrade from 12.0 to 12.5. I can't understand what is causing it. Main suspect is mysql but by searching with iostat, iotop, atop I could not identify something different.

I am quite sure that the plesk upgrade caused it because the two identical servers were upgraded at very different dates: First server was upgraded on 9th November, and second server was upgraded on 30th December. You can see the difference...

Change Plesk Backup Manager Default location

Hey guys,

Is it possible to change the Plesk backup manager default location to be another VPS server location specifically for backup storage? In other words, when customers backup their website, is it possible to change the location of the file backup to be another VPS server location instead of the current one?

We use SSD storage, but since SATA is much cheaper, we'd like to use another server with SATA as a backup location.

Please advise, thanks.

Can not start Plesk 12.5 - sw_engine failed

This happened completely out of the blue. No changes were made to the system. The funny thing is that I loaded up a backup image from last week and I am having the same issue on that image as well. The panel has been working fine since last night. This is very strange. Anyway here are the logs:

Plesk 12.5 / Centos 7.1 - PHP-FPM restart error No pool defined.

On a fresh install of Plesk 12.5 on Centos 7.1, I am running into a strange error when trying to restart the php-fpm service.

"No pool defined. at least one pool section must be specified"

I have read a few options on how to fix it, but none seem to help when it comes to different PHP versions.

Apache Webserver Crash every Sunday

Hello,

i have a Problem since weeks that my Apache Webserver crashes every Sunday morning arround 5-6 AM +1 UTC. websites are down and watching only nginx error

i think something goes everytime wrong with the plesk auto updates.

i cant find what the updates every sunday are.

maybe something with my firewall?.. i m using a firewall over virtuozzo container .. i have most of all ports blocked .. only 80, 443, 53 and all mail Ports are enabled. everything else is closed. i thought auth or...

Plesk 12.5 redirecting Joomla sites to default Plesk Page.

Hi there,

I had around 10 Joomlas 3.4.8 sites working perfectly in a 12.0.18 Plesk Centos 6.5
(PHP 5.4.16 running php as fast CGI Application)

I just migrated to a brand new installation with Plesk 12.5 completely updated to to the latest version. Not error when restoring manually my Joomla sites... until I click the home page.

With all sites, (including multi-language sites using /es and /es tags), the behavior is as follows:

  • domain.com redirects to Plesk's default page...

Change webmail.domain.tld to domain.tld/webmail

Hello,

I got the following problem:

We got one single-domain ssl certificate. so we can use https on domain.tld.
But we also want to secure webmail.domain.tld with the same certificate.

How can i change webmail.domain.tld to a non subdomain? (https://domain.tld/webmail for ex.)

I read much articles about that topic, but nothing seems to be clear.

does anybody have a workaround for this problem?

My plesk server was hacked by Anoncoders, twice.

Hi there,
My server has been hacked twice this week.

Six days ago (before of the first intrusion) I was using
Plesk version 12.0.18 Update #58
  • My WAF (atomic rules) was probably out of date (WAF On, but Update rules were disabled)
  • My Joomla and Wordpress sites were not using the latest version, but the last update for them it was done around last October.

The intruders left an html file with a message that said "hacked by anoncoders" in every root folder of the sites....

My plesk server was hacked by Anoncoders, twice.

Plesk 12.5 / CentOs7 / WP auto-update

Hi,
I switched on WP auto-update on multiple wordpress installations, but it seems those installations remain not updated.
I need to go in the plesk panel and start the update manually.
Do I have to add a task to the scheduled tasks to enable the auto-update of WP installation?
