Hey guys,

Is it possible to change the Plesk backup manager default location to be another VPS server location specifically for backup storage? In other words, when customers backup their website, is it possible to change the location of the file backup to be another VPS server location instead of the current one?

We use SSD storage, but since SATA is much cheaper, we'd like to use another server with SATA as a backup location.

I want to enable webmail for one of my domains in Plesk 12.0.18.

In Website & Domains → [my domain] → Mail Settings → Webmail, it does not offer any webmailer choices, it just says “The webmail component was not installed.”

That’s a lie. I installed Roundcube and Horde in Plesk’s component manger. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help.

How can I fix this?

I am moving our remaining plesk servers from plesk 8.6.0 to 12.0.18. ever since the update to MU#75 there are always 2 domains that fail with the error:

Hello,

i'm new with Plesk and I want to install a application from e.g. Joomla.

When there is the load screen it allways stop at 1 %. I waited several times for more than 30 minutes, but nothing will happen.

Can someone help me?

Hello, i have an Problem, i created Backups with my old Plesk Server, inserted this updates to my new Server now i even get this error:

Code:

Domain: Domain.tld
Plesk entry point: https://domain.tld:8443/

The following error occurred during the scheduled backup process:

Unable to upload dump to FTP, it remains in server repository and you can manually download and upload it to FTP. Upload diagnostic message: Can't initialize RSA private key

the backup get's uploaded to the FTP...

Hi,

Recently we ran into a problem with PCI compliance scan on our sever with Linux Plesk 12.0.18 installed (CentOS release 6.6 OS).
The problem is that cookie which is sent when you open control panel login page at 8443 port does not have "secure" attribute. According to most recent PCI requirements such behavior is classified as PCI-fail.

From our side we've tried to turn on session.cookie_secure setting in php.ini (the one responsible for Plesk web interface), but looks like it has no...

Hi

We are in the process of moving one of our server to a new provider. Existing server already has plesk installed. So we purchased a new server (with a temporary new domain) and installed plesk and now we are trying to migrate the files and databases using plesk migrator tool. We are not sure how safe is to use this tool, it would be really helpful if someone can explain the following:

Background: Server with 4 domains. Centos 6.7
Plesk was upgraded some days ago to 12.5.30_build1205150826.19. No problem these days.

Just added new domain, during setup no ipv6 was added as was no planned initially. Everything ok, new web y Wordpress, old web in html copied to archive directory and phopbb forum running also ok.

Emails from Plesk came rejected from Gmail (the destination mail account for new customer) for a problem with ipv6 so decided to add an ipv6 to this...

Hi

In the 'Backup Manager' for each of the 100 or so domains on my server I see that there are 25 Back ups (.xml files). This seems rather a lot. (I presume each site is using 25 the disk space that their website is using though I need to investigate what is being backed up.)

How many backups does the community think is adequate?
(My sites are all pretty standard small business websites.)

I've been trying to help a member here with his fail2ban installation and after following advice from a more knowledgeable member I changed my own settings yesterday so fail2ban would use a disc based database, where previously I had it stored in memory.

I woke this morning to a 25+GB logfile and a cpu core running 100% constantly. Only way I could get control of my server was to kill fail2ban and fail2ban-client, and kill -9 on the fail2ban-service.

I read lot of topics concerning this problem.

I can send mail from webmail, but if i try to use any client mail, i can receive but not send.

I try to activated 587 on all ips, nothing.

Hi

I have an issue with domain that have been migrated from plesk 8 to plesk 12.5 with old wordpress apps installed (wordpress 2.3.3), user have try to update it from panel, and all data have been deleted (we are review and trying reproduce the problem, it seem serious issue if it's true), but now, client see the option to update wordpress in panel control where there is no data, and recieve this error :

We have just installed the latest version of Plesk 12.5 MU # 20 on Debian Jessie 8.3.

/opt/psa has been moved to /home/psa and /etc/psa/psa.conf file has been updated accordingly.

Hello,

I have a number o WordPress sites in different hosting accounts within the same sever with plesk 12.5

All are php 5.6.17 as FPM served by apache.

I have installed a wordpress plugin called OPcache Dashboard.

With this plugin you can see which scripts are cached.

Is it normal that I can see the scripts from other sites hosted on the server?

Is there a way to prevent this like having zend opcache to have a cache for each vhost separately?
