customer cannot create FTP user

Hello
I have plesk PLESK-12-VPS-WEB-PRO with ovh. I can see in my admin panel, for each domain, the ftp user option, in order to create ftp accounts.
but, when I switch to customer user, the ftp icon is not anymore here.
in "service plans", the "Additional FTP accounts" is unlimited,
then, is there any restriction here ?! did I miss something ? how can I let the users create its own ftp additional accounts ?!

nginx HTTP/2 support cipher problems

It seems that enabling nginx HTTP/2 support may break SSL on a lot of devices. Plesk generates its own cypher suite entries in /etc/nging/conf.d/ssl.conf

Command to enable:

Testing was done using ssllabs

Please take a look at the before and after screenshots. Is this normal behavior ?

Permission denied in Web server settings

Hi,

On one of my Plesk servers, I can't access to Apache & Nginx settings in any subscription. When I try it, I've a "Permission denied" error.
In the PHP settings section, I can't choose all PHP Handlers.

I've no error in my panel.log and I've tried a plesk bin repair all without success.

One thing is strange, when I try to list PHP Handlers, I can see:

Plesk 12.0.18 on Centos 6.6.

Dear all,

In order to do automate some statistics i would like to have a quick way to see the size the mailboxes.

I know that I could execute a du -shc under /var/qmail/mailnames/<domain>/<mailbox> but for large mailboxes it will take a lot of time.

On the other hand Plesk reports mailbox sizes and occupation very fast (although not always up to date as I have noticed). This is the data that I would like to fetch which is good enough for my purposes.

root user lost access to all vhost folders and files

After managing to screw something up trying to fix TSL issues, running a plesk re-installation/update on top of the partly working version, plus plesk repair all and more I have a working plesk installation except for on major issue "my "root" user lost access to all the subscriptions/domains files and folder on the server".

Hello,

I had clients contacting me this morning advising that their websites were offline, I then checked the running services and Apache was offline, I restarted and all ok but I want to know why.

This is the Apache error log leading up to the problem.

The reason why I think that it had something to do with Plesk update 8 is because I also received an email at 05:35 advising that an update had just been performed.

Hello,
I have hetzener dedicated server with this info:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz (8 core(s))
Plesk Onyx v17.8.11_build1708180301.19 os_CentOS 7
CentOS Linux 7.6.1810 (Core)
64GB Ram
2x8 TB HDD

I have a domain with "YetiShare File Hosting Script"
in the first the users didn't face any problem and they could download files with multi-thread in high speed with programs like "Internet Download Manger"

After a while the problems start to happen and the users only download one...

Firewall rules flushed when Plesk checks for updates

Hi guys,

I have rented a virtual server from strato.de with Ubuntu 14 and Plesk preinstalled.
Everything was working fine for a while and then it suddenly started that all my firewall rules get flushed during the night at around 01:52 when Plesk checks for updates.

Here is the installed Plesk version:

Plesk PHP date.timezone

Hello,

Does the Plesk PHP ini files set the date.timezone parameter automatically?

I only just enabled the server to synchronize with a NTP server via Tools & Settings > System Time, however I have a client getting a PHP warning:

I see that the date.timezone parameter is not set in /opt/plesk/php/5.X/etc/php.ini, will this automatically update given that I just configured the Plesk system...

PHP error.log: failed to notify status to systemd

Hi,

the PHP error.log (/var/log/plesk-php56-fpm/error.log) contains following message for every 10 sec. on a CentOS 7.2 machine with Plesk 12.5:

NOTICE: failed to notify status to systemd
Is it necessary to notify status to systemd? If so, how can I fix this problem?

If not, how and where can I turn this off? Can it be done in the "Additional directives" of the Plesk PHP settings (https://server.tdl:8443/smb/web/php-settings/id/1)?

Hello.
I have a VPS with plesk 12 I created an email account with one of my domains and when I try to send emails from this account through webmal of roundcube, I get the following error.:

An error has occurred!
SMTP Error (250): Authentication failed.

I would like to know what this error is due and as he could fix it.

Hi,
Just in the process of uggrading to new box Plesk 12 (Ubuntu 14.04LTS).
ON the previous (plesk 10) I was able to disable ftp services by editing /etc/xinetd.d/ftp_psa - this doesn't seem to be an option now.
Can you tell me how to do this on plesk 12?

Cant install new license, SSL connection error

Hi all,
we have problems to install new license key. There is a problem with SSL certificate issued by keys server and domain name (SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN).

Server Info:
Centos 7
Plesk 12.0.18

When we try to install new Key, Plesk returns this error:

Error: Unable to connect to license server https://id-00.kaid.swsoft.com:5224/.
cURL error description: SSL connect error(35)

Same from command line:

# /usr/local/psa/bin/license -i XXXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
Unable to connect...

enable .htaccess on Plesk 12

Hi,

I'm trying to enable .htaccess under Plesk 12. I found some references on the web, but these are either outdated (like http://kb.odin.com/en/124) or not working at all.

Can anybody help please?
