Hello everybody,

I have one question:

I'm receave the message bellow after plesk 12.5 backup:

Warning: hosting "mydomain.com.br"
Not all the data was backed up into /var/lib/psa/dumps/clients/myclient/domains/mydomain.com.br successfully. /bin/tar: invalid option -- 'q' Try `tar --help' or `tar --usage' for more information.

How i can resolve it?

Hello,
I have a new CentOS 7, with Plesk 12, CentOS 7 by default has XFS filesystem.
I try migrate sites from another Plesk Server but Plesk agent say: "hard disk quota is not supported due to configuration of server file system" (my CentOS 7)

My CentOS7:
CentOS Linux 7.0.1406 64 bits
Plesk 12.0.36

My fstab

Hi All

I wonder if someone can help, I have been using Cloudflare CDN for a while and have decided to discontinue using it, since reverting back my SSL certificate is no longer working, I get an error saying my site is not trusted as the certificate expired 120 days ago, my certificate does not expire until April 2017 so I'm a little worried my server may have been compromised in some way. I seem to remember patching the server sometime ago against the Poodle vulnerability or something...

After release of last Worpress version I have some domains that show this error in Plesk panel:

Hi all,

if you change the PHP settings for a Subscription to "run PHP as FPM application served by NGINX" and then you change anything in the appropriate Service Plan, then the PHP settings of the Subscription changed to "run PHP as FPM application served by APACHE" after synchronization.
As a result some sites doesn't run.

Bug?

Hey there,

I've noticed a problem that seems to be persistent across all of our Plesk 12.5 servers. I've tested and confirmed this on one in particular running 12.5.30 Update #40.

When deleting a client and domain (in particular via terminate in WHMCS), the client, domain, subscription and databases are removed from Plesk, however the vhost directory and system user remain on the server.

This means that if we attempt to recreate the domain, we get an error about the system user already...

Hello!

I use Plesk to configure a server. Sometimes (I think)tomcat produce a lot of CPU usage.

Did I need Tomcat7 on my server ?
If not, how can I remove it?

I tried to uninstall it from the components. But I think it is still there. For example I find it afer some updates as a running process. Before I try to stop it with the command: /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/tomcatmng --stop

Hello, I have a version on my old mySQL server and I would like to know if updating with Centos 6 will lose the databases or it is dangerous to do so.
I'm afraid of losing all databases and spoiling something.

If it is simple please tell me how to do it.

Hi,
I need to give a third party access to my mySQL db, but do NOT want to give them access to Plesk.

I understand that this is possible - but do I need to get a SysAdmin to do it - or can a simpleton like me do it?

The official Plesk instructions are beyond me! Is there any easy way from withing the Plesk interface to achieve this?

Previously all our web customers were setup to access their SFTP using the shell /bin/bash(chrooted). As of 2-17-17 it was working for everyone. The following Monday 2-20-17 it was not. This issue is affecting ALL domains that used /bin/bash(chrooted) as the shell.

When trying to connect via my ftp client cyberduck, FTP error: EOF while reading packet. Please contact your web hosting service provider for assistance.

When trying to connect via SSH on command line, error: Could not chdir to...

I actually test https on website on a server with Plesk 12.5 and Debian 8.

If Nginx run i get this :
Secure Connection

Hi,
I start using dropbox backup on several servers.
It run fine everywhere except on one server (Plesk 12.5 under Debian 7.11) where i get this error message :

Failed to Execute: '/opt/psa/bin/pleskbackup' server --output-file='/tmp/dropboxXuiS17.tar' 2>&1
Output: error: Can't export file 'backup_info_1702231032.xml' to /tmp/dropboxXuiS17.tar. Error code: 1.

How can i solve this problem ?

We suffered a severe server crash and I have had to restore parts of /etc /var and /usr from the old hard disk after getting the server re-imaged. For some reason, plesk backups were missing. :-(

Almost back up and running, but when I go into Plesk and under Server Management, I click on Wordpress, I get this error:

for some reason I lost plesk installation so I ran
/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller
and decided (bad decision) to upgrade to 12.5 ( 12.0 was showing installed )

getting this error
ERROR: Zend_Db_Table_Row_Exception: Specified column "plesk_max_version" is not in the row

But get a missing table error , so now I have ended up with a 12.5 installation 0

and the
/usr/local/psa/bin/repair --installation

gives this error

DATABASE ERROR!!!
Previous product version is , but previous...

Hi all,

I have not found any answer which will resolve this issue, so I'm posting the issue I have here.

The issue I have is that when changing the e-mail address for the administrator I get an error as followed:

Code:

ch_admin_email: /opt/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng execution failed:
[2017-02-23 15:55:33] ERR [util_exec] proc_close() failed ['/opt/psa/admin/bin/nginx_control' '--restart'] with exit code [255]
Can not reload proxy server: Service /etc/init.d/nginx failed to restart...

I need to to increase the php upload limit. I tried to uodate the php.ini to 1024m, but still in WordPress, I can only upload a maximum file size of 16mb. Why are the changes in my php.ini not actually working???

I'm moving from old plesk 11.5 to 12.5.
I've never used nginx before.

ANY tips or things I should be aware of in making the move?

example: I learned that nginx doesn't read .htaccess files

stuff like that!!!
