Hello,
I actually test https on website on a server with Plesk 12.5 and Debian 8.

If Nginx run i get this :
Secure Connection
The connection to this site is encrypted and authenticated using a strong protocol (TLS 1.2), a strong key exchange (ECDHE_RSA with P-256), and a strong cipher (AES_128_GCM).

But if it don't run (Apache only) i get this :

Hi guys
I had a few scheduled backups to FTP go wrong and they didn't complete.

It looks like *some* of the backup data may have been dumped in

/var/lib/psa/dumps/
and
/var/lib/psa/dumps/domains/

Looking at these folders, I see a whole bunch of files. Trying to figure out what's essential and what can safely be removed?

Can anyone clarify what their own

/var/lib/psa/dumps/
and
/var/lib/psa/dumps/domains/

contains?...

Good morning,
We have a problem with our plesk 12.5
Attempts have been made to execute several ongoing tasks but have not finished.
Also, when trying to make a copy of a database, the process is constantly cloning and never ends.
We have tried restarting plesk and it has not been fixed either.

Hi!

I logged in my domain plesk panel and realized that I had 121% of my space used so I deleted several BIG backup files to free 3GB. However, the free space hasn't been updated yet, and it's been 6 hours since I deleted the files. Is there any way to update the space manually? Or how long do I need to wait untl it's updated by the system?

How to block access to the domains hosted in Plesk of the TOR network?
I currently have CSF installed since it is a bit more advanced than iptables.

When I move from php 7.0 to php 7.1 I can no longer install any package using phpize previously used like this:

/opt/plesk/php/7.0/bin/phpize

Now how should I use it since phpize tells me that it does not exist in:
/opt/plesk/php/7.1/bin/phpize

Maybe it's something simple but I need phpize to be able to urge any library

On a server, the domain name that is the servername belongs to a reseller, so its not possible to have the lets encrypt cert also secure the plesk interface.

I can install a let's encrypt certificate for plesk via the Security Advisor extension.
But is that renewed like the ones for domains or do i have to renew that manual every 3 months?

Hello, I've looked a lot before posting, but none of the solutions I've read of seems to solve my issue.

I am having an issue where the Plesk daily job (/usr/local/psa/admin/plib/DailyMaintainance/script.php) is overwhelming MySQL. This happens for between 5-10 minutes every day when the job is running. As far as I can see what is happening is that the job creates about 150-200 connections to MySQL and then other scripts are unable to connect. The max_connection limit for mysql is set to 512.

Is there a way to limit how many connections are used by the Plesk daily job?

Hi!

I upgraded a host from wheezy to jessie - sadly i unregarded some unknown points.

Some Information about the enviroment:

• OS: ‪Debian 8.7‬
• Plesk version: 12.5.30 Update #59
• apache2:amd64/jessie 2.4.10-10+deb8u7

So I fixed all broken things after the upgrade up to two. Here is the first:

Plesk cant start apache, apperently of the new init-system.

I am having an issue where the Plesk daily job (/usr/local/psa/admin/plib/DailyMaintainance/script.php) is overwhelming the server, particularly MySQL. Hello,
I have a problem with the mailserver settings. I use Dovecot as a POP3 server, but Plesk indicates I use Courier.

Courier is displayed as an installed POP3 server.

But the Plesk installer says I have Dovecot installed.
Dovecot runs perfectly, but this error appears if I want to change the mail settings.


How can I tell Plesk that I use Dovecot?

I'm running a Wordpress website and recently upgraded my VPS from 11.x to 12.5. Since the upgrade I get 403 forbidden from nginx after uploading images in Wordpress. I had no problem whatsoever with my setup on 11.x.

The weirdest thing is, all additional image sizes generated by Wordpress are displayed correctly, only the original image gives a 403. So screenshot.png will return a 403, but screenshot-150x150.png that is generated as a thumbnail by Wordpress won't. Also, I can't deleted or...

I had a problem with my backup-manager because it said the mysql.proc tables where corrupted.

Like this

mysqldump: Couldn't execute 'SHOW FUNCTION STATUS WHERE Db = 'somewebsite_'': Cannot load from mysql.proc. The table is probably corrupted (1548)

HI!

I setup an email account into my Plesk 12 to automatic forwarding all emails to an gmail address. But Gmail put all mails received into the Spam folder.

I revised the mail Header and its a SPF softfail causes because my server is not rewritting the sender envelope.

How can I activate SRS on my Plesk or solve this issue?

I completed a fresh install of Cent OS 7 on an OpenVZ container and updated it with standard system and Atomic RPMs. I then installed Plesk using the command-line utility and configured all services as I've done dozens of times with Plesk 11.5.

After adding a domain (or migrating one) I couldn't get Bind to start and it was throwing the following errors when running `service named restart`:

Hi wish to give a subscription client access to site builder... When i access his subscription via admin access, sitebuilder link works fine...
However if accessing via created his user account access ( tried both webmaster and full administrator settings,, same problem) .. when you click on sitebuilder icon it says "Error: Permission denied"

Any one shed light on how to fix?

The online greylisting support page: https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213394809-How-to-configure-Greylisting# mentions the option -whitelist and uses it in a bit ambiguous way, so that one could be led to believe, that it is used to whitelist an email server. However this should be done with -domains-whitelist. Could you please clarify this in the documentation?

Also please mention somewhere that the domains are matched against the clients HELO hostname and not against...
