Hello Plesk users!

I'm new to the forum and a bit new to Plesk and linux. However, I have plesk setup and installed.

But my problem is that, I have restrictions, so only a special IP can login on the admin account.

But today I got a whole new router, because the old one was buggy and had a lot of problems. This means that I got a new IP. I did not think of that, so now I'm locked out from my Panel and have no idea how to whitelist my new IP.

I'm using Plesk Centos 6!

Hi,

When using file manager on plesk I noticed time stamps of files are one hour ahead. Changing timestamp on file manager does not correct the problem.

The timezone of the server is correct, and if I connect via ftp or ssh the timestamps of files and folders are correct however in plesk they are not.

The timezone in Tools & Settings => Sistem Time is also correct

Where can I force plesk to accept my timezone?

Hello.

When we try to send an email to an account on the VPS that has Plesk, we get this error sometimes


Error Type: SMTP
Remote server (208.109.80.210) issued an error.
hMailServer sent: .
Remote server replied: 552 5.7.0 Number of MIME parts exceeds maximum permitted

Which could be the reason that causes this? is there any configuration on Plesk to set those MIME parts?

I want not log access to static files. So I set this lines under "Web Server Settings for domain.tld" in the textbox for "Additional directives for HTTP":

Hello, since from beggining I have problem with FTP on my server.

Server is Debian 8.2 and Plesk 12.5.30 Update #20

I have no idea what can be...
At beggining I tried to set to use FTP root, and maybe that I something crashed...

Now, for every webspace I created, and FTP user for that webspace, I cant use FTP.
I tried FTP and SFTP, and ports 21 and 22, and Filezilla and WinSCP...
Only I can do, is upload over browser...

Can you help me, where to look, from what point to beggin?

Is there a way to exclude specific directories or files from Plesk backup? Before I upgraded to 12.5 I could do it by creating hidden directory (name starting with .) and Plesk backup script didn't include it in backup by default. Right now in 12.5 script includes these directories in backup. So is there another way to exclude something from backup? Thanks.

First post so hi all, nice to meet you!

I've just upgraded my VPS from Plesk 11 to the latest version then upgraded the Ubuntu from 12.4 to 14.4 subsequent to doing this I installed NginX via the GUI and that has broken it!

After upgrading Plesk as per instructions we tried to run the final post script as per this instruction Run the post-upgrade script. The post-upgrade script is named distupgrade.helper.<OS.old-OS.new>_post.sh and is located in the /usr/lib/plesk-9.0/ directory...

I'm receiving the following error:

Template_Exception: nginx: [emerg] "worker_rlimit_nofile" directive is duplicate in /etc/nginx/ulimit.global_params:1
nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed

file: /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/Template/Writer/Webserver/Abstract.php

I tried repairing the domain using httpdmng, but the error persists.

Any ideas?

Hi, i have a problem adding a second networking interface on plesk 12.5 and centos 6.6 hosted by amazone (AWS ec2). If i add a second interface from the amazone console i can find it back in centos by ifconfig -a then i see it is attached but not configured, i tried to configure by following: http://kb.odin.com/en/118583 and some other options but everytime when i add a config to the eth1 networking interface it wont work, the server cant restart the network inetrfaces so goed...

Hello!

I'm running a CentOS 7 VPS with Plesk 12.5.30 and I'm trying to add a IP v6 address, logging in with SSH using the command "ifconfig" the IP v6 address is there though adding it in the Plesk panel I receive the error below I've Googled though I cannot seem to find a resolution.

Can I use firewalld with Plesk 12 installed on Centos 7 or do I need to deactivate it?

Hello,
we got a Customer with a Domain only using E-Mails until now.
Web-Hosting: None

Now I changed his Plan to one including Web-Hosting - and tried to change Web-Hosting from None to normal Hosting - but it always fails with this Error:

Hi there,

i had a problem with Plesk Control Panel (12.5.30 Update #20) on my Debian machine.
Processes like

/usr/bin/sw-engine -c /opt/psa/admin/conf/php.ini -f /opt/psa/admin/plib/scripts/interface_async_executor.php -- EventListener /opt/psa/admin/plib/.../...php handleEvent

lets CPU come to full usage und a load average of 80. Never noticed that before. What could the reason be?

I tried to update to 12.0 to 12.5.30 but hit few snags. Here is what log reported:

AND

My hosts are trying to upgrade my managed server from Plesk 11.5 to Plesk 12.5, but they tell me it is failing with the following error messages, which they say is due to me "upgrading MySQL using the atomic repository". I have no idea what that means, I wouldn't know how to do it, but is there a solution:

Basically I can connect to and from my server using SFTP on port 21 though as soon as I enable "Enable Firewall Rules Management" it's blocked regardless if I have rule to allow FTP access.

I've tired connecting to Plesk using Filezilla and using the FTP backup manager both are blocked if I enable the firewall.
